Epoxy adhesive is a thermosetting adhesive composed of an epoxy polymer/resin and a hardener. It is used to join a range of surfaces together with a robust, strong, and permanent bond that can tolerate extreme stress and harsh weather conditions.

Epoxy adhesives are the most adaptable structural adhesives widely used in various industrial applications. Known for robust & permanent bonds, they are a preferred structural-grade adhesive choice and are excellent at bonding similar substrates like metal, glass, and wood. The pros of using epoxy adhesives include good chemical & environmental resistance, strong bonds, a wide variety of cure speeds, resistance to creep under sustained loads, excellent void-filling capabilities, and thermally & electrically conductive.

K2P Chemicals is a leading epoxy adhesive manufacturer with the experience to meet industry demands. We manufacture the product using high-grade chemical compounds procured from reliable sources in the industry. We ensure that the epoxy adhesive we manufacture meets the required quality standards & specifications. We serve as a reliable supplier of epoxy adhesive to clients for diverse applications. As an epoxy adhesive supplier and exporter, K2P Chemicals complies with various regulations related to packaging, labeling, transportation, and other aspects of exporting. We guarantee safe and prompt delivery.

FAQs About Epoxy Adhesive

Epoxy adhesive is a high-strength, two-part bonding system consisting of a liquid resin and a hardener (curing agent). When mixed in the correct ratio, a chemical cross-linking reaction creates an exceptionally strong, rigid plastic polymer that physically anchors and chemically bonds to a wide variety of materials.
5-Minute (Fast-Curing) Epoxy: Designed for quick household repairs. It hardens rapidly but has a shorter working window, lower overall chemical resistance, and lower tensile strength (typically 1,500–2,500 psi).

Standard Structural Epoxy: Takes hours to cure (24 hours for full strength), but yields a much denser polymer network with far superior shear strength (often exceeding 3,500–5,000 psi), higher heat tolerance, and greater chemical resistance.
Bonds extremely well: Metals (steel, aluminum), wood, concrete, stone, glass, ceramics, fiberglass, and rigid plastics like ABS and polycarbonate.
Avoid using on: Flexible plastics with low surface energy like polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), Teflon (PTFE), silicone, and rubber, as the epoxy cannot form a mechanical grip on them.
